I thought the guys in the watch tower watching Jack and Rose make out and not having binoculars was the cause of the crash... Sorry, just got back from the movie.

Can you give a better definition of 'train conductor', like who's driving, who's checking tickets, how many employees does it take to run the train? Also, a few weeks ago I was riding out on the bnsf line, and we had a Railroad policeman or something like that instead of a conductor walking up and down the train (packed weekend evening train), he didn't seem to be checking tickets. Thanks.

Off topic, but I love what I've seen of the work EFF does. Any plans for making tethering/mobile hotspot features standard? I think everybody agrees, you're just using data you already pay for on a different device. And how about the return of unlimited data plans? Also, is EFF doing anything to create a compromise between content consumers (legal and illegal) and media production giants? Current system is full of extremes: inconvenient and expensive physical media vs. free and super convenient illegal downloads. Of course there is some sort of a medium, Netflix, Hulu, but they are stuck in a serious Catch 22: small selection leads to low rate of users, which leads to not much money to purchase licenses with. It doesn't help that the production giants suppress these modern, legal, consumer friendly initiatives. So there's my take on the issue. What's being done about it?

IIRC, they only allocate core hours to users whose programs take advantage of the parallelism/power of the HPC, otherwise it's a waste of resources.
