Same here. My spots were unfortunately a lot bigger, so I wouldn't have any choice but to shave the whole thing.

Did you have any triggers that led to the bald spots? Any time I was dealing with a lot of stress, I'd wake up and find large patches of hair just gone.

Surprising hearing that come from a translator.

I'm sorry to hear that. Of course your son is your main priority, but try to make your own health a close second. Try to use any free moments in the day to exercise, eat healthier, and sleep (yay power naps). Those three made a huge difference for me.

Thank you! I'm actually getting annoyed OP keeps saying wigs have to be expensive to look good.

Wigs definitely vary in terms of quality and price, but I personally disagree that to have a nice-looking wig, you have to shell out money for customization or premium quality hair. You can make a $30 wig look nice if you know what you're doing.

What I'd suggest to u/Nohat_wears_a_hat 's friend is to go on YouTube and search "lace front wigs" or "cheap wigs" and explore from there. There are hundreds of black female youtubers that show you how to rock wigs regardless of price. They also typically post links to where they bought them.
