I have the same condition but it only affects the right half of my upper lip. It kinda works out cool though because when I grow out my facial hair my mustache is half white and half black/brown. It has earned me the monicker "two face".

As a composer, what is the best way in your opinion to break into the field that you work in? I can't imagine that executives would be as accommodating to newer composers as to a seasoned veteran who has been writing for years. Also, what other experience do you have under your belt?
