I can assure you that rent is paid on council houses. Only when you are very poor do you get help paying rent. Some of it is run down but lots isn't.

Source: Spent first 25 years in council houses. One damp, second a grotty flat which has now been knocked down, third a lovely brand new house in a nice scheme, many of which have subsequently been bought by the tenants. My mum and step dad still live there paying full rent, about 80 quid a week I think.

Hi Mogwai. I borrowed 'Young Team' from Montrose library shortly after it came out and have loved you ever since. (Montrose library had the best music section. Yay for libraries.)

Which of the band likes to cuddle most? I reckon it is Barry. Also, do you have any good stories about Aidan Moffat? xxx

What do you think of Sally Grover having a complaint made against her by transwoman Roxanne Tickle to the Australian Human Rights Commision for gender identity discrimination for refusing non AFAB entry to the women only space 'Giggle'?

I don't know if this is your area of expertise, but here goes. I am 46 (and a half) and for the past couple of years I have been getting absolutely crippling migraines on my period and when I ovulate. They last for days and are exhausting. I take a migraine preventative, extra magnesium and vitamin B complex as advised by the British Migraine Society. They all help but nothing has gotten rid of this terrible pain. I have tried three different 'triptans', the go to migraine treatments and they don't help. My GP prescribed a birth control pill which made my migraines worse! Could HRT help me?

Sorry if this is not your area of specialty. Thank you for helping an often overlooked group of women, Carol!

Thanks for this! I wasn't able to take hormonal contraception when I was younger because... it gave me migraines! I had a copper IUD for years and loved it. First insertion was YOWCH, second was a total breeze. I'd be hesitant to get a hormonal iud in case it made things worse but a cream sounds interesting. Thanks for your input! :)
