The IPCC is often portrayed as conservative with regard to taking (positive) feedback loops into account. Do you agree with that assessment?

Follow up: the first (French) model results for the upcoming IPCC report that is currently prepared are straight out frightening. Do you expect the report’s average to be in a similar ballpark?

Do you consider the use of offshore comapanies per se unethical or can you imagine reasonable legitimate uses for them?

The rate of change makes the difference. While natural climate fluctuations are a fact, they play out over geological timeframes. The temperature changes over the last hundred years or so are unprecedented in that regard.

I understand that the Bronze Age collapse is often attributed, in parts, to environmental disruptions. Which other collapse events in history would you attribute to climate change? When comparing these societies, do you see common strategies that perpetuated the collapse?
