Who do you think the miner is mining for? Who do you think the farms from the destroyed bat habitat are for? These products are also distributed globally to 8 billion people and rising rapidly. In my small town alone, the growing human population caused more homes which are built by destroying bat habitat for property lots. Every city expands. And since when does any scientist shy away from a 'loaded' topic? Have courage my friends: The bats are relying on us.

Why aren't you focusing on the underlying problem, human overpopulation? More humans=more development =more destruction of bat habitat.
