I've read through most of this thread and haven't seen it mentioned yet...but have you ever had a doctor check for Klinefelter's Syndrome or some other type of genetic disorder?

Klinefelter's Syndrome is a disorder where you have an extra chromosome. Guys typically have XY, while girls have XX. KS guys are XXY.

This is a very basic summary, but the point is that sometimes guys with KS tend to have some female characteristics...including real boobs. Everyone varies, but I thought it was worth mentioning and potentially looking into as there may be other things that you are not aware of that treatment could help.

I have KS. For the most part...I have very few visible (physical) symptoms. I don't have moobs, I have a ton of body hair, and have been in pretty good shape before. (I got a little lazy this year).

However, it does play a part in various other less visible (to other people) issues:

  • I had a lot of learning issues when I was young.
  • My teeth are in good shape, but require more work as the enamel is weaker with KS.
  • I've had a number of medical issues that were not strictly related to KS, but made worse by it.
  • My joints are not great either.

I was reasonably lucky when it came to symptoms. You may not have had any of these, but everyone is different. However, the biggest one that MOST KS guys have...is the inability to have kids.

I saw you mention elsewhere that you didn't want kids. This may change down the road. It did for me. It's better to know in advance...instead of finding out later.
