Nope, very serious, criminals do not give a shit about laws, so they will do whatever they please.

The problem with putting restrictions on what law abiding citizens can do with guns is that criminals do not care about the laws in place, that is why they are called criminals, they do not follow the laws, so saying that joe blow on the corner who just wants to go shoot targets cant have a 30 round magazine will not stop the drug dealer on the corner from using one when he goes and robs a store or whatever he is doing.

Guns are not the issue, it is violent people. Look in countries that dont have access to guns, most of the murders there are with knives and fists or baseball bats. Guns are not the issue, they are no more a tool than a fork or a spoon. It is violent people that cause all the issues in the US. 64% of the gun deaths in america are suicides. Most of the rest are gang violence mostly because the drug trade. And there are justified homicides in that number, not sure how many there are a year. But guns are not the issue. Please stop blaming guns for the fault of the people. The mental healthcare system in this country is flawed. Taking away guns from LAW ABIDING citizens will not stop CRIMINALS from getting them and using them for whatever they want.
