They sent me a PM:
Our post was deleted as some people were not content with the proofs, and demanded that one of the person in the photo with blacked out photos present his documents, identification publicly, which he didn't want to do publicly. We were accused of possibly being a scam, which we are not, and mods deleted the post to prevent any mishaps or trouble.
No word on why there were Photoshopped "proofs" of charity registration, or about the news report that says the kids are in another town :(
edit: Indiegogo campaign is now halted.

Despite deleting everything, the OP is still replying to requests and said he will refund donations if asked. I am only in for $35 so I'm going to cross my fingers and see what happens.
