Do you feel that Gershwin's music is Classical or Jazz?

Think of it this way. You own a record shop and just got in your Gershwin albums. Do you put them in your Classical section or Jazz? I would put them in Classical but put a sign in Jazz and Show Tunes to look under Classical.

Most of us say "Classical" and we mean Baroque, Classical period, Romantic era, 20th-century, Modern, and Contemporary (Post-Modern) music which has an orchestra.
