Bostonian here. Everybody knew we were going to go back to Chipotle at some point. The free burrito just made sure we didn't waste too much time.

I've never understood it, I've always thought it would be a good deal to lose my luggage. In a crash. It's just a bag full of sudoku and twizzlers. But when I go to file the claim, suddenly my $500 designer bag was full of cash, new laptop, cell phone, and lots of expensive jewelry.

HR guy here. My company offers this as a benefit. At my company they're expressly restricted from representing people in matters that involve the employee's employment. They're only able to offer legal advice in that area.

What's maddening is that I could appreciate a set of constantly changing rules designed to keep bad guys from full understanding the screening process, and making it harder for them to plan.

But what we get is a set of wildly inconsistent rules based on who ever is working that day. This doesn't leave me confident.

I had a credit card knife that had been in my wallet for years. Totally forgot to remove it before going through security. It was a legit catch, I shouldn't have brought that on the plane and kudos to them for stopping it. But I'm sure that was recorded as one more threat to domestic aviation the TSA stopped. Which is a bit of a stretch.

They also once courageously stopped me from taking a full sized tube of toothpaste on a flight. A return flight to be specific, it was actually a little bit fuller on mother flight out.
