Steel isn’t actually that strong of a material in tension compared to other fibre based polymers and materials.

It would be more interesting if they provided yield and ultimate tensile strength of their material and what type of fatigue properties are exhibited.

Lots of things to consider but at equal thickness pantyhose material could put up a fight. I wouldn’t be shocked if this product uses dyneema black grade fiber, although in that case they’d probably be marketing it more than they are.

I mean, if you swap out nylon with some other engineered fiber, you pretty much describes Kevlar armour. The core material in this product doesn’t seem to be related to nylon.
