Is it true that the "skin" of the eye never fully heals and rubbing it can cause it to tear and you might even go blind?

Hi, i have a bear from the build a bear workshop. It was a present for my 1 year old daughter from my mother who passed away 4 weeks ago. It contains a recording of my mothers voice with a message for my daughter telling her that she loves her. It is currently the most precious thing in the world for me as it contains one of the few recordings of my mothers voice. So my question is this: if i change the batteries in the bear, will it erase the recording? How long do i have to get new batteries into the bear once i remove the old ones, and is there any way to export the recording from the bear for upload so i'll never lose it?

Hi John, love the videos and everything you do. Would you consider having a shipment of iron ore shipped into the site? I know I personally would have zero issue with you using shipped ore, as the iron source onsite doesn't look very productive. Even back in primitive times, they most likely would not have had iron ore locally and would have shipped it by horseback or cart. I'm sure there must be some compromise that works so you can get a better iron source. We have to get you to the iron age one way or another! :)
