Isn’t Lassen a plug-dome volcano? Will it’s eruption rival or surpass Mt. St.Helens? How would it compare to Pinatubo’s last eruption? I’m a teacher, so any sense of comparison is super helpful. I’m probably too late, but it’s worth a shot.

As someone trying to buy a house in Santa Cruz, that’s fucked. The dip would be momentary and the added tax revenue would help the city provide better services. Those arrogant gents at the National Academy are lacking what Carl Sagan was best at, teaching. He was able to breakdown complex theories for those not particularly versed in the field of science. To be honest, I think they felt threatened by him. His brilliance will live on through generations.
