Why Zebras Don't Get Ulcers
They usually die in their natural habitat before 9 years of age, often gruesome deaths due to disease or predation. This is the equivalent of a human being dying before the age of 20. Gastric ulcers reach peak risk between 55 and 65 in humans.
Zebras don't get ulcers because they usually die young from crocodiles, lions, hyenas, or painted dogs ripping their digestive systems out through their assholes when they're the human equivalent of teenagers.
