Of course young people should vote, but young people voting will not make congress pass laws that benefit young people with student loan debt. In case you haven't noticed, we have one of the most useless and ineffective legislative bodies in the world. Young people with student loans don't have money. Therefore they cannot afford to line the pockets of our politicians. Which seems to be the only way to gain any headway in dealing with the rich old scum running our country. If by chance a congressman or two got elected who aimed to reform student loan policy, it would immediately be shot down and swept under the rug or stalled out by some asshole like John Boehner.
