Many people who go to public school end up socially inept as well, trust me I had the exact same experience as you did socially in school, just 12 years of it instead of 5 or 6. It wasn't until college when I met some kids who would give me a chance that I broke out of my shell, until then it was a living hell, so don't resent your parents for doing what they thought was best for you at the time due to not developing social skills, if you're surrounded by assholes who won't even turn an ear to you you're going to end up in just the same space, to be fair though i did fight a lot in school, dunno if that's something you'd miss or not. When I was 13 I started working in the family business, Concrete construction, I ended up one of the strongest people in my grade and basically just kicked people's asses when they gave me shit (after 12 years I was sick of it), which got me left alone but no where closer to having real friends or social experiences.

You realize that colleges and highschools in central china made deals with foxconn for forced unpaid child labor right? Often times in factories with no ventilation and tons of toxic fumes. When you have children in your factories commiting suicide because the working conditions are so bad how is it really any better than slavery.

I mean it's slavery with the GUISE that these kids have another choice, which is not graduate and be perpetually unemployed. And chinese society isn't as helpful to unemployed individuals as the west. It's either foxconn your way to a degree or die in the streets worse off than pseudo-slave labor.

I guess that's a lot better than actual slave labor.

It's about the same thing with electronics too. You literally cannot buy electronics not tied to basic slave-esque labor. You'd be hard pressed to buy ANY electronic device that doesn't have a component that's seen a foxconn assembly / fab plant.

Foxconn produces so much so cheaply other manufacturers just sell grey-market (rebranded) foxconn components.

I scraped my brand new car against the pillar in my parking garage, the same pillar I parked my old car next to for almost 4 years before hand, my new car wasn't really any bigger or harder to drive, there is no excuse. Didn't even have 250 miles on the odometer....

I still haven't fixed it, I just got a few quotes though, I want it taken care of before the salt use becomes heavy because there is one spot that's bare to the primer.

edit: seriously I am thinking about it right now and it's so emasculating to admit, I feel shame every time I fuck my wife like I don't deserve because I am a shit driver and I can't handle the raw power of the 2.0l subaru impreza hatchback, not even a WRX....

Hey man, just haven't gone that far down the rabbit hole. In the west we don't actively endorse slave labor, we just kind of export it to the other half of the world and, "out of sight, out of mind"
