My parents were told by our pediatrician that it looked like i had it but they didn't want to put me in meds so he recommended sports. It helped with the "hyper" part but the "attention" part was never really addressed. I was just a high functioning person who got good grades so it was easier for it to go unnoticed.

Thank you! I’m from Ecuador and am always having to sell it to my friends as a good vacation spot in South America. Not only is it cheap because of the currency but it has everything you are looking for (coast, Andes, Amazon, Galapagos). The roads were upgraded in the last decade. It used to take 8 hours to go from Quito to Cuenca but now I think it’s almost half that. Thank you for bringing attention to Ecuador :)

I just came back from Brazil/Argentina 3 weeks ago. I know that those planning to conceive or pregnant are at most risk. But for people like me who are not in this category, what should I be doing to monitor any potential exposure to Zika I had while in South America? I used bug spray while there and also have started using it more often back home in NYC.
