That is what you're doing. You're saying that as long as it has a lot of guilty people, then it's fine to give them all shitty food/treatment, even if there are innocent people among them.

Why is it good? Prison has a lot of 1) innocent people, 2) people who are imprisoned for victimless crimes, 3) people imprisoned for crimes that don't deserve the severity of the sentence/prison conditions.
