What software and/or mathematical tools would you recommend for an undergrad interested in biotechnology/bioinformatics?

I’m not the person but it’s a scale. Legally blind means meeting a certain threshold of condition intensity.

For college/adult students, what would you say is fundamental in developing an interdisciplinary foundation in biology and engineering? I got my A.S in liberal arts/sciences last year with a focus in biology but I’m really interested in genetic engineering and synthetic biology.

Can you release a guide on how to make your own floating houses out of trash? Sounds like a great summer DIY project.

What perspectives are necessary from other fields (chemistry, physics, bio, engineering, etc.) would you say are the most influential in helping solve certain problems?
