Is this only herpes, or all viruses in the herpes family? Meaning, it would include something like chicken pox, mono, etc.?

I've always been curious how people investigate a link between these diseases since they are so prevalent in people. I think I read that something ridiculous like 80% of people end up getting mono (epstein-barr virus) at some point in their lives.
