IMHO ++the best parts of WAS / liberty on z are the modify commds. -The WAS skripting stuff special on z. ( you have to find the control/servant region) -i have not seen that jenkin is running on z. (asii/ebsic problems inside jenkins) - other vendors are not familar with z

Is there a git client available for z/OS uss?

How can we get the latest news / best practices hot to integrate java with cobol and cobol with java on z ? (zos connect, mq between java, cobol, wola, was cobol container, java native calls.) Is there a community with shared sourcecode (f.e. private github projects) with snippets?

1. Not WAS specific /F MYSTC,runMycommand,param1=2 (I dont know it is possilbe to enhance the adressspace functionality)
2. after that runMycommand has to be translated into a shell skript or WAS Mbean, jython or what ever i want to call. this could be for example was specific - or not. Inside a custom "modifycommandhandler" i am able to get process id, stcname from the adressspace and the parameters.

Do we get a web-ide on z like the bluemix one? (like https://developer.ibm.com/devops-services/2014/11/10/web-ide-improvements/)? Are there any plans to have codeceompletion / filevalidation, warning, errordetection for uss configurationfiles for ihs / was-plugin.xml, liberty server.xml server.env etc (All the stuff which is available inside eclipse but not "inside" z)?
