Would like to add some actual science to this discussion.

"Although porn consumption promises to help individuals relax and relieve their stress, a growing number of studies have found that porn consumption is actually linked to poor mental health outcomes. This link is particularly strong when porn consumers engage in a pattern of “self-concealment,”—which is when they do things they’re not proud of and keep them a secret from their friends and family members. This pattern not only hurts their relationships and leaves them feeling lonely, but also makes them more vulnerable to emotional and psychological problems. For both male and female porn users, their habit is often accompanied by problems with anxiety, body-image issues, poor self-image, relationship problems, insecurity, and depression."

Also, porn fuels the sex trafficking trade internationally. This is something most people don't want to accept. Personal choices don't end in victims and often that's exactly what happens in porn.

"There are all kinds of connections, big and small, between pornography and sex trafficking. There are incidental connections, like the fact that exposure to pornography has been shown to make viewers less compassionate toward victims of sexual violence and exploitation.

There are “supply-and-demand” connections: the simple fact that pornography—especially when viewing habits and fantasies involve violence or other fetishes—increases the demand for sex trafficking, as more and more viewers want to act out what they see."

Totally not anecdotal, women and male users of pornography can experience sexual dysfunction.

"Study after study has shown that porn is directly related to problems with arousal, attraction, and sexual performance. Porn leads to less sex and to less sexual satisfaction within a relationship. Researchers have shown a strong connection between porn use and low sex drive, erectile dysfunction, and trouble reaching orgasm. Many frequent porn users reach a point where they have an easier time getting aroused by internet porn than by having actual sex with a real partner."

Really looking forward to watching your documentary!

"How to Die in Oregon" was absolutely incredible and emotional and opened my eyes to this topic.

I'm really hoping I phrase this correctly.

In general there's many people who believe suicide is "selfish". Whether it be state assisted or someone making the decision to end their own life. I have heard this used often.

This question is for both of you. I have personal experience on the topic and have heard these conversations... What do you say to these people?

It hurts the victim more for telling them they are selfish for making their own life decision, in my view.

Thank you.

Hi! Lived in upstate SC for years. Do you ever plan on leaving Cola? I am intrigued by people who stay. It seems to have stayed as dangerous as it always was.

So a study that was funded by PornHub is considered non-biased to you?

Really sad the lengths people will go to defend jerking off alone.

I assume you also don't care that porn fuels the sex trade worldwide bar none?
