Thanks for your reply! I agree that places like this have tolerated smoking traditionally. I am just wondering if being able to just write out a ticket might make it 'easier' to harass smokers? Before, they would have to arrest you and take you out the place and all that comes with that, kind of a hassle for the cops. Now they can just whip out the ole ticket book...And I am talking more about general law enforcement present around concerts and such, not necessarily the hired security, etc...Will be fascinating to see how all this plays out. Can't wait to visit Colorado again and see some more great live music and leave some of my hard-earned money there for you guys!

Reading through that, it sounds like places could create 'private clubs' to skirt the public smoking issue. Here in Texas there are counties with wacky liquor laws and they have to resort to something similar to be able to sell booze. More likely though it sounds like turn a blind eye is how it's going to go. But there is always the worry of some over zealous cop coming into a place and busting people for public smoking.

So, you can't smoke in public, far as I have read. What about concerts? Indoor/outdoor? If I went to a show at Red Rocks or an indoor venue, how will that be handled? Traditionally, those are places where people were already smoking mostly openly, so I am curious what it will be like now.
