John Moreland is incredible. His music is so undeniably real.

Having dated a Norwegian girl for well over a year, I would like to chime in that it seems very cultural to me. Norway is one of the few countries on earth I would classify as a nation-state, and it's mostly because the fabric of Norway's society comes not from their legal or civic system, but from their social system.
