My mother bought a Hästens bed at a crazy discount (still expensive) over 20 years ago. The top and bottom parts of the mattress rise, it has nassage vibrations etc., all controlled by a remote. The bed is good but extremely heavy to the point where is almost impossible to move without scratching the floors because of the machinery + heavy mattress, and the remote hasn't worked for a decade. It feels very much like a slightly overdone luxury item, but it's still the only bed she can sleep in without back pain, so it was probably worth it. It's a pain if you ever have to remove even just the top mattress though, since it weighs so much it may give you that back pain right back.

Just chiming in on the part that sex evolved, since that doesn't necessarily mean that sex chromosomes (or sexes) exist in all species. You can argue that evolutionarily, the only thing that matters is what type of gametes you produce and that that, consequently, determines your sex. In that case I'm pretty sure that /u/wandmirk could be considered pretty much the biological version of agender (asex?).

Terry was so versatile. It took me an embarrassing number of years before I realised he played Prince Herbert in the Holy Grail and I've probably watched that movie at least 50 times.

I read your first AMA, follow you on Facebook and was so happy when I saw this! Not for any particular reason really, except for the thing where I constantly think you're my personal friend whenever I see you in pictures. You don't even look like someone I know, it's just that everytime I see you on Facebook my brain goes "Hey that's her, she's so nice! She's R... Rachelle from Reddit. You don't actually know her. Right."
So, eh... are you a good friend?
