Hey OP! I was once told this and have always wondered if there was any truth to this or if it was just a myth.

Is it true that if the morgue fills to capacity, any additional bodies are placed in the cold storage area that the bananas are usually kept. So, if there is suddenly a rise in banana flavoured items and more bananas being offered on the buffet, you know that this means that the morgue is at capacity and bodies are now being stored in the banana cooler.

Is this true, or is it just an urban myth (as I suspect)?

Your answer genuinely made me morbidly giddy about having that somewhat right, thanks OP!

I can actually believe that it does happen and protocols must be in place. I once got a great deal on a Panama Cruise trip, and when I went, I must have been younger than the average patron on ship by at least 40 years. Ever since, I've always been really curious about what happens in regards to body storage and terminally ill patrons while at sea.

This is so interesting (also sounds very painful both from juvenile arthritis and post-op recovery!). You said that your jaw will function like normal, does that mean that you will regain full range of motion or is the joint too deformed from the arthritis or the new joint too unstable that you won't be able to open your mouth or move your jaw side to side as far as another person?

I was on a cruise that went to Panama and I saw many elderly patrons, some of whom were clearly using oxygen tanks and other visible medical devises. I felt like that was the cruise destination where old people go to die.

I'll bet! You mentioned in another thread that you are in Canada. Purdy's chocolates in BC has some amazing English toffee. Very chewy. Very delicious! I am sure you have got a bunch of foods that you want to tuck into once your jaw is all healed up.
