well for a while, I'll be working on putting the book together, so the vacuum doesn't start for me for a few weeks. Other than that, my life is wiiiiide open, currently. Which is both exciting and terrifying??

Back in 2004, Joey got an email from the people at the Guardian to let him know that they wanted to run our comics in the paper. He was super excited, but he couldn't call to let me know because I was on the west coast and he was four hours earlier, in Halifax. So he waited excitedly until it hit 7am West Coast time, and called to let me know. That was really exciting! It felt like we'd hit the big time.

Sadly the editor who brought us on left a few months later, and the new one wasn't so into our weirdness, so we weren't in there for long. But it was sweet while it lasted!

In terms of feels though, nothing beats the messages we get from readers, letting us know that the comic has touched them, made them feel less alone.
