As someone else who does a Halloween haunt, a friendly reminder to everyone who has or will visit one soon, that we are people too!

Just because you "paid x amount of dollars to be here" doesn't give you or anyone the right to assault (sexually or not) any of the actors. We know most people don't, but the people that have this intention going in? Don't do it. Or if you get the urge to while in the haunt? Still don't do it.

I'm in the Richmond metro area and it's not a BIG problem, but we've had some more escalated issues this year.

One of my friends had gotten slapped on the behind multiple times one night and another their chest groped. Another friend who was doing a jump scare behind a tree had someone straight up come around the other side of the tree and push and hold him against the tree (That guy was thankfully able to be identified and was sent straight to the cop on sight).

I'm at Creepy Hollow Scream Park. We have "Scream Forest" where you and your group walk through the woods alone sort of deal

Yeah, it's 9 times out of 10 people who are the belligerent ones are drunk or high.

And yes, we can tell when you are haha. And we know you probably don't care either.
