Yep. This is why I think wikipedia is a great resource but a horrible place. I've done this multiple times. Edited articles, clearly improvements, and 7/8 times out of ten, those changes are reverted or deleted. Handful of times I've been "warned" or end up with pop up ad like thingy that tells me "so and so noticed my edit and I should register and blah blah blah" but those changes are always removed.

Wikipedia is a great site. One of the most useful on the internet. But it is a horrible community if you are not 100% vested in it. There is not a shred of respect for anyone's views if they aren't a Wikipedian.
