This comment is the first thing I read and it's inspired me to buy the book. I've been thinking about samsara all week and you just put something into words beautifully that I needed to hear. Thank you. I look forward to reading on!

I'm also curious about this. Anecdotally, I'm a night shifter that got very bad SAD in New England but still working nights in southern CA I don't feel as though I have it anymore. Still deal with depression but not SAD anymore and am overall much happier.

I sadly agree with you. This is what I had to do and it's hard to move on feeling like you are leaving loved ones behind and not feel guilty... I wish there was more we could do. But you are sadly completely right.
