Not a professional but I know quite a bit about schizophrenia, if it's a blood relationship, absolutely!

This is hands-down the most heartbreaking thing I've ever read. I don't know if it is for you, but I know I would have a very hard time admitting what you just did, although I'm sure I would have had the same thoughts. Thank you for your honest reply.

I don't have a question (I've read the whole thread and it basically answered all the ones I had), I just wanted to say it's amazing how good-humored you are about this. Good luck with the whole recovery process and future sex!

That's not weird at all! No different than a kid checking out the body parts they aren't used to paying attention to.

I really hope you get to my question, because it's something that's been bothering me. I'm 15 weeks pregnant and have a male OB. Since I was 5 weeks pregnant, I've lost 30 pounds, can't eat solid foods, and had to quit my job. After going to the ER 4 times for dehydration, I was finally diagnosed with HG. None of the medications that my OB has prescribed work. All that being said, he keeps saying, "wait a few more weeks and we'll see about getting you a zofran pump or on a home IV". He's been saying that every time I go to the ER or have an appointment with him since I was 7 weeks (When I had only lost 10 pounds). Also, when I ask questions (for example, is it possible for me to feel the baby moving at 14 weeks) he outright laughs at me, in a kind of demeaning way. Also, at my 14 week appointment, he was in the room for literally about 1.5 minutes, just long enough to find the heartbeat and ask if I had any questions. Is this normal behavior, or should I look into finding another OB? I don't think he's taking my problem with HG seriously. I had to quit my job and everything, and have been effectively on self-imposed bedrest since 7 weeks because I'm so dizzy that standing up for more than 60 seconds at a time makes me get sick, which I've told him. This is my first child, by the way, so I have no idea if this is normal behavior for an OB.
