Did you buy the insurance, or as asked is the phone out of manuf warranty? I am guessing you had a two year contract, so I am guessing it is. insurance will fix it, also buy a prepaid hand set. Cell phone contracts are not based on how long you have your handset. Its for two years. You agreed to remain with your cell phone contract for the length of it, broken phone or no. I know its frustrating that you can't use a phone, but you most def. have options.

I don't have a question, but I did want to say thank you for doing this ama, and all the useful answers you have given. I recently came off a battle with opiates(not heroin or shooting up, but really just as destructive). I have lost several friends to the whole ordeal and saw one of them od. I really wish when we called the paramedics for him they would have arrested him. They didn't bother and a month later he did it again. Dead at 24.

I watched the entire family around him self destruct, and it was totally the wake up call I needed. Took me almost two whole years to get to where I am now.

Care to give an example of the fees? also .. its not so much getting hung up on one word, but being that you sold phone and plans you know what a pain in the ass it is to deal with customers who don't understand taxes, or that they aren't something controlled by you.

you should know .. This information is not completely correct. Tax rates are not included in the contract and they have nothing to do with the company. Its tax. Government.
