These seems like a good place to ask how you feel about ballot initiatives in general. I don't hold up much hope that they are unconstitutional but as a Californian I've always found the things to be undeniably stupid. Getting a million, or whatever the number is something similar, signatures isn't a large enough barrier to entry in a state with more people than Canada...
