Over the past few years I've written/edited my own shorts, so I have the most beginner of beginner handling on Premiere Pro and Final Cut. I've also recently started taking a video editing course from a local college. Questions:
How valuable do you think it is to go to school for editing, versus being self-taught?
Are there any "easy" (or at least, foolproof) tricks to make what you're editing look more professional? Things like making sure the audio synch is absolutely correct, etc.
