Just adding my 2 cents. As a former smoker I can fully confirm what was said here. Since I quit over 3 years ago the savings financially (and health wise) have been tremendous.

I also cut down on going out for drinks and drinking in general. Again, huge savings. Sound advice all around. Thanks for the AMA.
