As a father of three myself, I can safely say that I'm not sure I would want to continue living after losing my girls.. I can't begin to imagine what you've gone through just emotionally let alone physically. I wish you the best in your recovery and hope the guy who did this to you rots in hell.

So this is an awesome post! My grandfather was also a Marine in WWII, and worked on ordnance for the F4U Corsair in the pacific! What squadron were you a part of? My grandfather unfortunately passed away a few years ago, but I still keep his memory close. It would be crazy to find a marine he served with on reddit of all places! Semper Fi Marine! Hoo Rah!
