I've done the Larapinta in full but with a support vehicle and day packs with a bunch of mates and I would love to do another hike that's similar. Very inspring stuff! If only I wasn't a casual I could take the time off 😅

Thanks! I hope you make the Larapinta, it was honestly so wonderful, the hardest day was the 32.5km section just because all day it was flat, monotonous and the heat even in August... It was mentally draining! A caffeine gel perked me right up though, great coz the map didn't say but there was a surprise big sharp ridge right at the end, then we got to the waterhole!

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did, and hopefully I can experience what you have one day! If you ever want a hiking buddy, please hit me up coz my mates are too hard to organise another big hike lol but I'd be ok to travel, I live in Melbourne 😃
