Ahhh I can't believe you actually responded! And wow, that's pretty harsh, didn't expect that from him.

I'm a senior at a high school in Maryland in an area where arts aren't really appreciated, so my partner and I are creating a campaign we've called Music on the Mind. It's still in the beginning phases but basically we're creating a community band along with an iPod drive for local nursing homes, particularly a hospice that's worked with the school before.

I loved Alive Inside and it inspired me to do my senior project about music therapy! Just wondering, are you still in contact with Dan Cohen like as friends?

Thank you so much! It would be great if you could give me a little insight about the journey through the different nursing homes or if you remember any one story that has stuck with you. Additionally, what has inspired you to film the things you do, they seem to be related to music or is that an incorrect assumption? Once again, I really appreciate this.

Thanks for your input! As someone that plays 6 instruments, I was recently enlightened on the worlds of music practitioners and music therapists and am certainly interested in both as possible career options. The hospice we'll being donating the iPods to has an internship for aspiring music practitioners that I plan to complete as I enter my freshman year of college in the computer science field (I discovered this world a bit too late in terms of college applications and still want to give my original plans a try), and eventually I hope to become a board certified music therapist as well. Just wondering, what does the exam center around? Once again, I appreciate the input!
