How do you feel about the current state of social media with regards to how magicians can promote themselves and share their work? On a related note, without going into any drama surrounding MVD over the years, what do you think is the best way for a new magician to use the internet to go about getting feedback from their peers on their progress?

And, because you've described yourself as hyperrational, here's two dimensions of the hypothetical to explore. First, you go back in time with full knowledge of the outcome. Second, you go back in time, lose the benefit of knowing what will happen, but keeping the years of life experience you got, minus everything personally relating you to that original incident and its aftermath.
