Because the actual event is a Renaissance Faire, and any person who wants to attend it is there for the Renaissance Faire experience, regardless of how they may dress?

You might as well say "Why even call it a Renaissance Faire if they're going to let people wearing modern clothes attend"

FYI, OP gave her an answer to a very similar question here.

The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl has been an awesome, strange, and engaging take on one of Marvel's most off-beat characters. If you could write on another Marvel comics character or team - who would it be? Someone more mainstream (Iron Man, Avengers, X-Men), or another GLA-level underdog?

Not OP, but curious - is your argument here that Renaissance Faire's shouldn't be called Renaissance Faire's if they're not 100% historically accurate, including working to clearly delineate between Celtic, Anglosaxon, and Nordic cultures in their architecture, clothing, cultural entertainment - and also eliminate any elements of fantasy or fiction - otherwise they're somehow...unethical?

That's some gatekeeping nonsense if I ever heard it. And even if it were attainable from the business's standpoint, you'd still have thousands of attendees perpetuating the blending of cultures that you seem all too eager to bemoan - a blending of cultures that some would argue is far more in the spirit of the Renaissance than the strict cultural divisions you seem all too eager to maintain.
