I agree with you on the subject of bartering away private information. I'm older myself and I have very small web presence(basically just reddit)...the thing I find somewhat more unsettling is American youth seem to not know their rights and will (it appears) trade their rights for the illusion of safety. I'm talking about the group 18-28 that were hammered with "terrorists are everywhere" fear propaganda and now, in the state's all it takes for everyone to lose their minds is a package out of place and businesses go into lockdown mode...it must be insanely expensive....do you have any thoughts on how we can return to critical thinking vs. an all out red alert reaction to these minor incidents?

Is it just a coincidence that America is sound asleep while you are doing this AMA?...I mean no offence, just wondering
