I may have to get the same surgery, so I was wondering: Did the surgery affect your jawline at all? Did it get better or worse?

I'm in Canada as well. The reason I might need to get a similar surgery is because I have an underbite, but I didn't get braces. Now I have a pretty good jawline, but my jaw bones are a bit messed up and it could cause pain etc. down the line.

That's the whole point - Everyone who can pays a little bit so nobody goes without healthcare.

That's good to know. I'm waiting until I'm 18 though, because apparently there's a chance my jaw will just fix itself since I'm still growing.
