A giant douchebag octopus.

To Andres- So much of the story line of Bioshock was told through the city of rapture itself, to a point where the city almost seemed to be a character. Do you feel this will carry over into Burial at Sea? Is there anything you've worked particularly hard on in that regard?

Not OP, but I have the same condition, part of it is that according to my doctor you can't be on disability and work full-time, and disability doesn't exactly pay well.

More importantly though, it's the title of it. I'm not willing to accept the fact that I'm incapable of having a normal life, and I'm also not willing to accept disability without doing that. My gastroparesis is actually bad enough that I can't even throw up, which on one hand means my stomach is almost always heaving but on the other hand I can kind of hide it a bit better. It's almost like when you put on a watch, when something is constant you start to not really notice it anymore. I can make it through a day without too much of a problem now that I'm used to it. I also refused to get a feeding tube until I started passing out because of how dehumanizing it was. I'm not good at admitting my limits.

I know many people who have taken disability they don't need, just for the extra bit of money, and they act like they've outsmarted the system, while I also know people who actually need disability and barely scrape by. I want to be nothing like the people who take advantage of this system, even if most people think I have the right to claim disability, I won't until I need to.

Having that much time alone with your thoughts, did you try to focus on anything? Was there any part of your thinking you would define as productive? Make music, write stories, come up with solutions for problems, anything like that?

So, probably a weirder question, but is there anything about that time in your head that you feel helped you or stuck with you? Conclusions you reached, viewpoints you formed, something like that?
