The media has mentioned that Boeing was tasked with some elements of what is being called "self certification" with some elements of the 737 Max 8 certification process. During the testing Boeing would have been doing for this, would there be individuals with the FAA on the team performing the tests/doing oversight? Or would the "self certification" team be made entirely of company personnel?

A few years back my teacher and I got into a little disagreement regarding the compromise of 1850. She said that it brought Texas and California statehood, Texas for the Confederacy and California for the Union and also brought about a new set of fugitive slave laws which were more strict. I argued that California upset the balance of slave and free states and that is why the new, more comprehensive fugitive slave act was passed.

I was removed from the study session because "I was wasting time" and "a distraction" to the other students trying to learn. Can you expand on the Compromise of 1850? The Compromise of 1850 ended up being an FRQ on the test.

Can you fully explain what the Compromise of 1850 was? Or share any stories about little shit students who tell you when you are wrong or made a mistake?
