Since the females are on birth control how does that affect the males? Do they still try to mate with the females? If they don't try because the whole estrus thing doesn't happen does it affect their temperment in any way making them more prone to aggression with other males for example.

I agree with the breeding we don't need anymore lions in captivity they should be left alone to be wild & free but admire that you saved yours from an evil fate!

Not sure how rainy the season is but do you still get to interact with the lions? Where do they go, just hang out in the rain I guess? Is that what happened to poor Thor very sad fate!
