First off, I am a HUGE fan of your work. Steven Universe has become my new favorite show. Your are such a badass.

What was the transition from being a storyboard artist to Creator/writer/director? Did you have any peers that became your underlings?

Also what was your experience pitching your show to CN? Did you have to twist arms or was everyone "fuck yeah, green light-ed"?

That all makes sense. Thanks for giving me some real world advice! I've been stressing about how to approach them. You just lifted this huge metaphorical rock off my shoulders.

I really love Manly. It totally hit me in the feels. What was your experience like working with cartoon hangover. Did you approach them with the completed short or did you contact them with just the idea?

Secondly, do you have any advice for aspiring cartoonists/animators who are trying to get their stuff noticed? Or advice for what to do once you have a finished five minute pilot?

Were any of your ideas for Adventure out right rejected for being too weird or bizarre?
