Handmaid's Tale was assigned to me in my senior year of high school and changed reading for me entirely. It opened up a world to dystopia themed works, as well as critical thinking.

Would you change anything about your writing of Handmaid? Perhaps to make it more, or less, controversial? How would you update it to better fit society 30 years later?
