I run gamification and fully immersive simulation based trainings for corporate. The challenge is that the mechanics involved in an escape room is months of prep and design and we don’t have the luxury of set up.

What are some surprisingly simple game elements / mechanics from your escape rooms that can be set up outside of it? (I.e like the maze thing you mentioned below)

Would you say a majority of the men use it or is it a minority of controlling men?

I follow you on Tumblr (not sure if those are the right words to use), but my question is actually related to that - there's a lot of talk of trigger words - in this particular case, what are yours? And do you ask friends and family to avoid these words or do you kinda tackle them head on to deal with it?

I don't know Melissa, and I don't presume to speak for her, but I'd like to point out your question is toeing the line of victim blaming, i.e how dare you have a life and do normal people things.
