Ever considered hard copy other than prints? Would totally buy Captain Estar...

Did you start making comics as a way to occupy yourself, or was there always the intention of putting them out in the world as a means of communication? Are your characters and plot lines ever born out of a solid plan, or do they kind of form themselves? Comics you'd recommend other than the ones on your link page (related: ever read Black Hole?)?
